FAQ's
What age range do you serve?
We work with children from 1 month to 4 years and 5 months of age, offering developmental assessments and support tailored to each stage.
Where do sessions take place?
We offer flexible locations including your home, our office, or community spaces such as the local library study room. You choose what’s most comfortable. The space must allow minimal distractions while the assessments are administered.
Who will attend the session?
Children must be accompanied by 1 caregiver who will also participate in the assessment for various activities. This minimizes distractions may help to ease the child during assessment in a new or unfamiliar environment.
Who are considered “caregivers?”
Caregivers are anyone who spends a significant about of time caring for the child. This person could be a parent, grandparent, relative or friend.
How long will the session last?
The Bayley -4 assessment session can be administered in one visit. However, some children will require at least two sessions to complete. The ESi 3 and Autism Spectrum Rating Scale are administered in about 30 to 40 minutes.
How long does it take to receive results?
Results are generated and processed into a parent friendly summary in 2 days. Parents may choose to meet in person or via Zoom.
What should I bring to the session? We provide all materials needed for the assessment and follow-up visits. Some children may require breaks. Parents are encouraged to bring small snacks or items that may soothe the child when needed.
Can I request a recorded session?
Yes. Recordings are available on request and with written permission. They’re securely stored and protected under our privacy policy.
What happens if my child’s needs are beyond your scope?
If we determine that your child would benefit from services outside our program, we’ll provide referrals to trusted professionals and resources.
How much do services cost?
We offer affordable, transparent pricing.
