Welcome!

I’m Wendy Scott, founder of Milestone Metrics. With 25+ years in early childhood education, I’m dedicated to helping families understand and support their child’s development by empowering parents with clear, compassionate insights from birth to age five.

Professional Experience

My journey began in my mother’s licensed family childcare home, where I found my passion for early childhood education. For over 25 years, I’ve owned and operated my own licensed program, creating a safe, inclusive, and developmentally rich environment for children of all abilities. While earning my degrees, I worked at Grace Baptist Child Development Center, supporting children from toddlers to school-age. I also provided nanny care for enrolled families, building strong, lasting relationships and deepening my understanding of child development across settings.

Specialized Care & Advocacy

I’ve supported children across a wide range of developmental profiles—including those born prematurely, with behavioral challenges, delays, or autism always tailoring care to each child’s unique needs. My approach centers on early identification, family collaboration, and strengths-based support. I believe early intervention unlocks potential. Too often, parents miss key windows for guidance. That’s why I offer certified developmental assessments and clear, research-backed answers to common questions like “Should my child be talking by now?” or “When should they start walking?” My goal is to empower families with trusted tools and insights to confidently support their child’s growth.
