Meet Wendy

Meet Wendy Scott, the parent-partner behind Milestone Metrics.

Milestone Metrics was created to bridge a gap Wendy kept seeing: families worried about their child’s development, but unsure what to look for, who to ask, or how to talk about what they were noticing.

Today, she partners with parents, caregivers, and early childhood providers to observe children in their real environments, translate what she sees into plain language, and collaborate on next steps that feel realistic for each family.

Instead of handing you a dense packet of scores and jargon, Milestone Metrics focuses on clarity: what’s going well, what deserves a closer look, and how to support your child’s growth over time.

Family-centered, always

Every child is unique. Milestone Metrics is built around collaboration, curiosity, and respect for what you already know about your child.

Why Families Choose Milestone Metrics

A calm, structured next step when you need more clarity

  • 1
Assessments feel like play, not a test. Children move, explore, and take breaks as needed.
  • 2
Reports are written in everyday language so you can share them confidently with your child’s care team.
  • 3
We focus on strengths first, then gently identify areas that may need more support.
  • 4
We welcome what you already know about your child and build on that knowledge together.
Good to know

You do not have to figure everything out alone.

Whether you are a parent, caregiver, or program leader, a developmental assessment can be a gentle and informative next step.

If you are not sure whether an assessment is right for your child or center, you are welcome to reach out with questions before scheduling.
